This policy explains what information Crest Systems (“Crest”, “we”) collects through this website and how we use it. Patient health information we handle for dental practices is governed by HIPAA and by the Business Associate Agreement we sign with each practice, not by this policy.

What this website collects

• What you send us. If you email us, we receive your name, email address and whatever you include in the message.
• Basic server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request data, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, to keep the site running and secure.

This website does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking, and does not sell or share personal information.

How we use it

We use what you send us to answer you, to discuss our services with your practice, and to keep records of our business correspondence. We use server logs only to operate and protect the site.

Please don’t email patient information

Do not send patient health information to us by email or through this website. When we start working with a practice, we sign a BAA first and set up a secure way to exchange records.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers who help us run our business (for example email and hosting providers), under contracts that require them to protect it, or when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep correspondence for as long as needed for the purpose it was sent, and as required by law.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. We will answer within 30 days.
